On the 15th July all Lydiate Parish Council playgrounds and sports facilities will open. These include; Sandy Lane, Kenyons Lane, Ridgeway Park on Coronation Road, Sandy Lane Tennis Courts, Sandy Lane and Ridgeway Basketball courts.
As shown in the image below there will be new signage at all playgrounds. It is essential that you take the time to read the signage in order to ensure the safety of yourselves and others during this time whilst using any of the facilities.
Here are some important points;
- It is still important to adhere to social distance guidance. Maintain a safe distance from others and come back if the playground is too busy
- Sanitise your hands before, during and after using the play park equipment and access gates. Remember to wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds and frequently throughout the day.
- Do not consume food and drink in any playground areas.
- Responsibly dispose of all litter including gloves, masks and protective gear.
- Consider wiping down surfaces before use
- Remind children not to put their mouths on the play equipment or put their hands near their faces.
- Do NOT use the equipment if you or any of your family have corona-virus symptoms or are self-isolating
