Lydiate Parish Council is seeking expressions of interest from not-for-profit organisations interested in partnering with the Parish Council to explore the development and delivery of Padel in Lydiate.
The project is currently at an early stage, and the Parish Council is testing the market to establish whether suitable organisations would be interested in entering into a partnership arrangement.
Proposed Location
The current tennis courts at Sandy Lane have been identified as the preferred location for the development, with provision for at least one tennis court to remain at the site.
Who We Are Looking For
Interested organisations should:
- Be a not-for-profit organisation, rather than an individual or private sector company.
- Be able to provide evidence of a plan to secure up to £800,000 in funding required to deliver the project.
- Demonstrate experience in the application process for obtaining planning permission for Padel courts.
- Demonstrate experience in project managing the delivery of capital builds, including Padel.
- Preferably be a local organisation that will give back to the Lydiate community.
How to Express an Interest
Organisations wishing to express an interest should contact Carol Farquhar, Clerk to Lydiate Parish Council, providing their organisation name and contact details.
Email: Clerk@lydiateparishcouncil.gov.uk
Closing date: 20 September 2026
Subject to the responses received, a full partner selection process will be undertaken to identify the most suitable partner.
